I have a 2005 jeep wrangler Rocky Mountain edition. It doesn't have a hitch. There doesn't seem to be any pre built holes on the back bumper to attach a hitch. How should I go about attaching a hitch my self, keeping low cost in mind. Thanks.

I would buy a bumper with a built in hitch with frame tie ins that's rated for towing (meant for weight). Otherwise you will have to get a hitch attachment that will hang below your bumper and bolt into your frame like the ones Uhaul sells.

A seperate hitch attaches to the frame not the bumper. There are not many aftermarket bumpers with hitches that are actually rated. It takes certification and testing so not many manufactuers actually go through the process. If you are really worried about cost, a hitch does not cost much and you can bolt it on yourself
