Hi, this is my first time owning a jeep. im just wondering what normal sounds should be coming for the transmission (manual). I know it normally makes a little sound while shifting, but I just wanna make sure. thanks :thumb:

What year jeep? Engine? Transmission? I know my 2000tj with the nv3550 sounds like there are marbles inside of it when I'm in neutral. Goes away when I push the clutch in. Not sure about any of the other years.

My '97 with its Aisin AX-15 made the same type of noise and it went away by stepping on the clutch pedal too. :)

My transmissions makes the same noise, also sometimes if I'm really low in the rpm's. But if I put the clutch in or gas it, it goes away
