I have an AX-15 transmission and there is a weep hole at the area where the transmission mates up to the transfer case. Either gear oil from the manual trans or ATF from the transfer case could leak past a shaft seal and you wouldn't know, without the weep hole. If you have determined that you are getting ATF out of that weep hole, then your input shaft seal on your transfer case is going. On mine, it was the output shaft on the trans that was failing but I also replaced my transfer case input shaft seal at the same time since I had done all the work to get at the other seal....another $10 is all to hit the reset button on that seal too.
