Just throwing this out here for some bites...my tripometer works occasionally and the reset has issues. Most of the time it doesnt reset. Being that its part of the whole speedometer I'd imagine I can't get into it-maybe I'm wrong. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and fixed it?

Just a set of gears turning more gears.. Figure when you do the reset it realigns the gears to a set configuration. If one of the gears gets broke or worn out or out of alignment then it dont turn. Yes you can get in there and mes with it. But most times it is already damaged and will need replacing. cheap cluster from Ebay will get you back in the trip watching game. I know how to take them apart.... but some might use that info to do something akin to a NO NO....
