Do i just need to add Truss and/or C Gusset to just my front dana 30 axle to help give it more strength? I have a dana 44 in rear.

Everywhere i look online people are always talking about adding it to the front and when i look and products i mostly only see front axle Truss and C Gusset.

Some people do truss the rear axle but our rear axle is pretty strong. What tends to fail on the rear are the axle flanges on the shafts. I don't know if aftermarket shafts have stronger flanges or not.

If you have the bucks do the rear. For me, I run D44's F/R with 5.13's but I think the action is in the front. My front has gussets, sleeves, Artec Trussing, RCV's and Reid knuckles - a heavy set-up. In the rear I only did chromoly shafts and I think I am pretty safe (now next week I will twist my rear - just watch!).

just my $.02 - if limited $ focus on the front

I pretty much intend to do exactly this I'm on 4.88 gears I'll prob add some new ball joints to the front aswell while I'm already there. Not going to be doing sleves tho have heard if u bend shafts it can create an unbeatable screech. Same for the rear just going to do shafts for the time being and save some bux.

I trussed my rear axle as well. My stock rear axle shafts only lasted maybe 5k on 37s and like Terry said, they went at the flange when they did go. I have chromoly rear shafts now, have had no issues.

My front axle shafts were still fine when I pulled them out to do RCVs at about 45k surprisingly. I have full truss and gusset in front.

I wouldn't bother with both sleeve and truss. Truss is plenty strong. If you can blow out a welded metal truss, there isn't going to be an axle worth saving to justify sleeves lol.
