Hey guys I just want some opinions on tube fenders and flat flares like the xenons. My fenders are starting to bubble a little bit so I would like to replace them. Post up some pictures and let me know your reasoning for purchasing either one. Thanks everyone!

Check your state laws about tire coverage. In PA, we have to have our tires covered. We can get away with an inch n a half I've been told by a couple friends that are cops, which means any oversize tires or low backspacing rim means you will need extended flares.

If I had the choice to use my Tj as a DD and not need the flatties for coverage, I'd go tube fenders all day, every day.

Oh, and here's my Tj with flatties on 33x12.5's:

These are MCE fenders. Made of ABS, but look similar to a tube fender in fit. I chose these because of price. As much as I'd like the Poison Spyder de-fenders or a highline kit...these fit the budget at the time much better. I personally don't like the flat fender flares because I think they look too wide. There is just something about them that looks goofy too me. I am all about it the jeep body looking slim and narrow with lots of tire hangin out (although this can be an issue depending on where you live and how tough the cops are). I live in CA and have yet to be confronted about my tires hangin out *knock on wood*

What size and brand are those? What size lift are you running as well?

Those look sweet but how involved is the install?

X2 on the MCEs they are great, they hold up to snow, mud, sun, wind, etc. Mine are outside 24/7 in all conditions and they have not faded at all. Both Jeeps below have MCE Gen II 3.5" Fenders.

Constable: Did you get the "no coverage" fenders I cant tell or remember.

What do you guys think of tnt tubes?
I looked at TNTs before I looked at the MCEs and I didn't like the fact that you had to move everything around under the hood. Also I didn't like the fact that you had to run those fenders with a Cold Air Intake. I liked the look, but wasn't worth the work to get them on the Jeep.

Is that a light under your front end? Pardon my noobiness, but I've never seen that...

Anyone know if the Bushwacker pocket style flares are the same for the 2Dr and 4Dr?
