Hi guys. Working out a plan for my TJ, got me a 2" coil lift kit.

I found a 33 Engineering skid complete with motor mounts and 1" body lift.

Before I buy that, does anyone know if I need to get an SYE or can I get away with the stock stuff...?

I don't think 33e has made anything in a few years. Do not buy that skid. I did. It seems fine when new but is really a POS.

I thought UCF took over what was left of 33e????????

I have a UCF skid. I like it.

I don't think so, perhaps you are thinking of AEV and Nth.

UCF makes great skids for the price - I personally run their 0.25" transfer case "no body lift" skid.

UCF has nothing to do with AEV/nth. AEV took over Nth. I've checked an Nth skid out in person--nothing wrong with it. I would check to make sure the tranny mount is included and is in good shape.

There's the catch...no tranny mount, seller says I have to mod the OEM one...I'm gonna pass on this thing, I don't have the funds for a SYE now.
