I just ordered a Procal. I did a lot of reading and found very little actual user reviews so I really am taking a shot in the dark. I will update you when I get it installed.

The Procal works great. I have no interest in negating my engine warranty so the Procal is perfect for my situation. It works great and without issue in my experience. Highly recommended.

I read the info on the Procal, but it doesn't say anything about having any mpg or power tunes.

I've had the Flashcal for a few months, easy to use and no problems, no power or mpg flashes but I only needed it to turn off DRL and adjust tire size. I have used the Diablosport Predator tuner on my previous 2 cars and didn't have any problems with them either, their Trinity and InTune are available for the Jeep, the Predator was their first programmer and has been discontinued for all vehicles.

I haven't heard of anyone having problems with AEV but I think it's pretty much the same as the Flashcal where you can't adjust for HP or MPG.

I received the tuner and installed it over the weekend. Everything went very well and I am currently running the 91 Octane, I have not got to drive it enough to tell you drastic differences but I can tell you there is more power than stock, I will continue to update as I run through the tunes. I am going to drive each one for 100-150 miles to decide which works best for me.

Anybody use or have feedback on a DiabloSport Trinity DIA T1000 performance tuner? I don't want a chip. I am looking to get a tuner so I can load whatever map I want when I'm off-road and on-road. Thanks in advance.

I just sold off my flashpack from my TJ to purchase a Traildash for my 14 JKURX. All I can say is WOW! I ran the 87 tune in my TJ and it was great. I ran the Cortex 91 tune, in my 08 H3 Alpha and it was amazing. The Traildash unit is absolutely unbelievable if you have a Rubicon. Every function works flawlessly on my Rubi. There are a gazillion features including gas monitors and maintenance reminders. The best part is you can lock your difs (front & rear) in 4 hi! You can disconnect your swaybar in 4 hi and shut off those pesky TPMS sensors. This unit has about 4 screens which operate a host of items and includes pitch, roll and even g-force gauges. Not sure why you really need the g- force since you will not be setting any speed records! You can program your headlights, your horn chips just about anything you want in a perfect touchscreen unit. The install was easy on my JK and if you have any questions feel free to PM me with install questions and I can walk you through it pretty easily. I have never been disappointed with a Superchips item and proudly recommend to any of my fellow Jeepers. I can't say enough about how much I like this unit! It also supports a backup camera and has a host of about 6 or 7 tunes which exceeds the flashpac models. I can't wait to get on some rocks and try the crawl tune! It comes with a really nice window suction cup mount but I opted for the traildash dash pod. The dashpod for 13/14 year models is slightly different than it predecessor models for 12 and older JK's so don't order the wrong one. It's also about $20 less but does not have the same "permanent" look as the older model which I can live with but I liked the older model better. You can also download a program and change the background image on one of the screens. I run on the beach a lot so a beach scene it is. Hope this helps anyone looking to drop a few bucks and if you have any question I will be happy to answer anything I can.

You can find some info on it at Superchips.com warranties cannot be negated due to modifications. It's against the law. This is a myth and any attorney would be happy to go after the big 3. I would suggest setting the stock tune on your vehicle before taking it in for service. I have heard of the dealerships updating your BCM to manufactures modifications to original stock so you don't want to lose the stock tune in your tuner.

Does installing a Superchips tuner void my factory warranty?
No. It is illegal for a dealership to void your warranty based solely on the fact that you have installed an aftermarket product. The dealership must prove in a court of law that an aftermarket product has decisively caused the damage to the vehicle under warranty. As a precaution, always remove the tuning before going to a dealer for service. For information regarding denial of warranty coverage, review the Magnuson-Moss warranty act.

With a modified PCM ( i.e. tuner) ; they will not warranty THAT item, nor anything they can say it affected. They will not warranty any aftermarket item you install on your vehicle .
If one puts a suspension lift in; they will not warranty the suspension. If you put an aftermarket intake on, they will not warranty the intake, and possibly not the engine if they can show that the intake was the cause of engine problems. However, if you put an intake on, and the roof starts leaking; they must warranty the roof because there is no connectiion between the two items.

Correct, they will not honor warranty for the mod part unless it it bought and installed at the dealer. If Jeep installs a mopar lift on your vehicle they cover the warranty. If you buy any aftermarket product, for obvious reasons, they will not repair. I guess I should have worded that differently. The tuner leaves no shadow programming but I suggest driving it for a few days prior to servicing if you change the tune back to stock.

I bought a new to me 12 JK with 25k a few weeks ago. All stock. 3.21 gears. After reading a few reviews I decided to order the 3872. Yesterday I towed my ATV on my 5x8 utility trailer a round trip of 150 miles. Weigh of trailer and ATV maybe a 1000 lbs. No real complaints other than the MPG drop (that was expected) and the MPH dropping off so quick when I started up the smallest hill with the cruise set. I usually managed 19 highway. I got around 15.5 towing. Hoping this will help me out with the "lag" while towing.
