We've FINALLY found someone who told us what we need to repair our 1994 Wrangler's turn signal but was told they are no longer available. The part they said we need is J4487816. Any advice would greatly be appreciated!!

It is the same canceling cam that gm used in all of its Saginaw starting columns in the 80's and 90's.

Mind you tilt and non tilt are different.

Seems most auto parts stores have the reproduction “Help” part on the shelf. Like the others say it is a standard GM part.

What was the original problem? Did the turn signal not work at all?

My YJ has forever had the issue where if you use the left turn signal, it comes on, blinks, but when the wheel is straightened out it doesn't click off. The right turn signal works normally however.

Would that part correct my issue as well?

Defcon, typically when it does as you describe, it's not the cancelling cam but a broken hair pin spring that's part of the TS switch in the column. Replacing the switch will fix the problem. Good Luck....
