Unable to open passenger door!

Help! I'm new to the Wrangler community so this may be answered somewhere already, BUT I am unable to open my passenger side door from the outside. I just bought it used from a lot and they failed to mention that it didn't open from the outside. What is the fix for this? It seems like maybe a cable from the button to the opening mechanism is maybe disconnected? Is this an easy/cheap fix?

It is a 2011, 2 Door

Thanks .. Fill out your profile. The reason I asked. If it's anything like the Tj. There's 2 rods that sit in plastic bushings. They break and the rod separates from the handle. No warranty ?
