I'm planning to order a Jeep Unlimited Sahare using the USAA pricing. I just noticed that the $1000 incentive expires 12/30/2011. Is this something they will probably renew or should I hurry & find a Jeep with the closest options instead of ordering? Also, is this usually the best pricing?

Actually the USAA site says by Jan. 2, 2012 but I know for a fact the GMC deal has been going on for at least two years. Also when my dealer called in to USAA because he didn't want to "get stuck with the $1000 discount" who ever he was talking to assured him he wouldn't loose the $1000. But then again my Jeep is suppose to be here Jan. 2.

Unfortunately if I order it will take longer than that. Just hate to settle for one without the options I want, but hate to miss out on the discount too.

You can't order a jeep and get USAA pricing. If you read the fine print it says the discount only applies to IN STOCK vehicles. My dealer also confirmed this with me as there was a Sahara Tan jeep 100 miles from me that he could get for me but USAA pricing would not be applicable with it so I went with the green hornet which he had in stock which is what I drive now :)

Didn't realize that the rules from the website don't say anything about it:

Exclusive $1000 Bonus Cash Allowance offer is valid at any franchised U.S. Chrysler Group LLC Dealer. This allowance is valid toward the purchase or lease of an eligible new and unused 2011 and 2012 Model Year Chrysler 300, Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Charger, Dodge Grand Caravan, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, or Ram 1500 Pickup (Quad Cab and Crew Cab Only). Offer is also valid toward the purchase of an eligible new and unused 2011 and 2012 MY Chrysler 200 Sedan (excluding LX) or Dodge Avenger (excluding Express). Customer must take retail delivery by January 2, 2012. This Bonus Cash Allowance offer is not available to the general public. Offer is additive to most current national, regional and other bonus incentives and is available on Employee Advantage, Dealership Employee Purchase or Affiliate Rewards Program vehicles. Offer is not compatible with the Military Program or FFA Member incentives. Chrysler offer discounts only to persons eligible for membership in USAA's Property and Casualty Insurance Group. P&C membership is generally available to current and former members of the U.S. Military and their former dependents. Certificate is valid for the person named on certificate and is transferable only to immediate family members within the same household with proof of address (valid driver's license or state identification card required). Certificate must be presented to a franchised U.S. Chrysler Group LLC dealer. Only one (1) original certificate is valid; duplicates are not. Certificate must be redeemed at time of purchase or lease of eligible vehicle. Only one (1) original certificate may be redeemed per eligible customer per vehicle. Offer not redeemable on a purchase/lease made prior to receiving this certificate. Certificate is nonnegotiable and not redeemable for cash. See dealer for details.

No you are right it was before that had the rule about on lot stock. But that was only for about a month then they changed it back and it's been that way for all of Dec. If you aren't going to purchase until after the year I'd just wait and see what USAA says after the 1st. My guess is they will continue the discount. Like I said when I bought my 2009 GMC Sierra they had the GMC discount then and I'm sure they had the Chrysler discount then also. I took a chance when we ordered because at that time it said the discont was only valid until the end of Nov. but as you see we won't get ours until after the end of the year and it's covered. Just go for it.
