Hey, Ok so i have a 90 YJ and really like the look of the TJ's Roll bar. Can anyone tell me if this can easily be done. I have both hard top and a new soft top, will they be affected. Thanks
TJ's may or may not work as part of the door surround is made to go on the cage Thus not sure how your soft top would work with it. Thus, if you get a YJ-92-95 cage it should not be an issue, it looks almost the same as the TJ's.
The tubs are different on the two models. So I don't believe you will be able to use the TJ setup. Like Jeepn said the cage model was changed in 92 for more safety. If you can find one in a junk yard I bet you can get it fairly cheap. If not then you can have a fabricator add the four bars you are looking for off of your B pillar and it will be stronger.

It won't fit. It's not even close. I've been looking for replacement YJ bars myself. Mines jacked up pretty bad after a roll a while back.
I drove it for a couple months without any bars in it. Some clown beside me at a stoplight one day says to me "Nice Bronco". The bars went back in, bowed and all. Honestly though. How does someone make that mistake?
