Is there any reason i only have vacuum on one side of the 4wd actuator on my 92 could it be the switch in the transfer case

Yes that is part of the system. Here are some diagrams and pic to help you out. The switch is on the T-Case along with vacuum lines

I have the motor off of the axle when i shift to 4 hi it slides into position but when i go back to 2wd it stays put if i moun t it and drive will it return to 2wd as it moves

And i appreciate the help thanx for the help i needed it hopefully it will disengage when i put it back on the axle

Well it doesn't come outvof 4wd unless i swap the vacuum lines and i haven't seen any cracks in the lines help please
