I did the cleaning where you put the Sea Foam in at the vacuum line. Well, the step after you let it suck up the Sea Foam is to cover the line to kill the motor and if it doesn't shut off there is a vacuum leak. How do I find this leak and does it have an effect on my mileage or anything else?

Thanks,
Chris

I've done seafoam and I've poured water in my throttle body to clean carbon deposits..... if your engine is dirty it will clean it and make a difference. I had a little spark knock and it took care of it pretty well.

I can't find any hard data that plugging the vacuum line is supposed to kill the motor, but I did get good results overall. Motor runs a little smoother and I'm already noticing fuel savings. I put it in the vacuum line and gas tank. I'll try down the TB next time.
