My 2012 JKUR went out of warranty a few months ago. I've developed a tick on the the right side head. I think it is most likely a rocker arm bearing. I'm looking at the shop manual from Tech Authority on how to remove the valve covers. It looks like a real PIA. The shop manual states I need to remove the upper intake manifold. In order to remove certain bracket bolts, the shop manual states I need to remove the front wheel inner splash shields--that requires removing all the rivets..another PIA. Has anyone done this before? Any shortcuts or tricks? It looks like I can access the right side valve cover without removing the upper manifold, is that true? Thanks
