Hey
Finally found a aluminum valve cover for my 90 yj. I know rubber gaskets are the norm now days. I have found a felpro cork on eBay new. What do you? Cork or rubber?

Kind regards

If you can find a Fel-Pro blue rubber gasket to fit your valve cover, I suggest you use it.
I'm using a modified aluminum cover from a CJ 4.2 and haven't found a blue rubber Fel-Pro gasket to fit it. I've had to fiddle with the cork gasket to stop any seepage on the drivers side of the cover.

Finding a blue rubber Fel-Pro gasket for a 2.5 may be easier.

Good Luck, L.M.

Yes I have found them as
well.
The cork is recommended for the aluminum valve covers
The valve cover is from a
1992 YJ 2.5

A gasket for a 91- 98 YJ or a Dodge Dakota 1998 will fit.
