When removing the upper bumps top on my 2012 JKU I had quite a bit of water come out of the frame where the bump stop was holding the water in. I had recently washed the engine a little bit but not a ton. I am concerned this spot holding water will cause rust issues down the road since it wasn't venting or leaking anywhere. None of the drain/breather holes in my frame are plugged with mud or anything and it was just sitting in the frame. Anyone ran into this?

i had a shit ton of debris and dirt in my bumps when removed. no water.

you could drill a hole in it and spray paint them if you overly concerned about your bump stop holders rusting.

Ill keep an eye on it but I would think I'm better off if I have that again to just drill the hole to be safe...
