I have the Bestop Trailcover. It works as it's supposed to. I haven't had any leaks. It covers all the door openings which is nice for when the doors are off.

the best top, how does it secure around the doors?

thanks

I don't have one yet as that is what I'm shopping for now but I believe its got straps that you clip to the rails or something under the jeep.

The raingear looks really nice and they have one that will fit with the top on (hard or soft). Probabaly the way I'm gonna go since I run with the soft top on alot but no doors

If doors are off and you are not careful there is a gap along the front edge.

I use a bungie cord in the grommited holes on the door part and stretch them down and forward hooking the on the rock rails. This helps close the gaps when doors are off.

I have the bestop trail cover. I use it a lot and have never had a leak. I cut a piece of plywood to sit over the front seats to help prevent water from pooling...makes it less annoying when your taking it off after a rain.

I've got the Bestop trail cover. It leaks. It's like the GP Medium tent or your pup tent, touch the sides in the rain and it will leak. I find mine leaks along the sound bar and the door surrounds. Not saying that they all leak but mine does.

it would probably help to seal these with camp dry to prevent leaks. most are advertised as repels water not waterproof. I've been looking into purchasing one of these as well

I really like my best top trail cover. It does have the straps for anchoring the flaps down over the door openings. It also has plastic clips that hook under the lip where the stock soft top windows do, which makes it very secure in windy conditions. It also has enough material to go over my tube doors, which " bulge " outward a bit, and still cover the opening very well. As well I leave my soft top on my Jeep, folded up, and the trail cover covers everything up nicely. I have had lots of water pool on the top after a hard rain, but have never noticed any inside. One of my favorite purchases, as it allows me to run with my top down and tube doors on and still button up while at work all day.
