I am looking at rebuilding my 4.0 motor with 3K miles on it because it sucked in water when I quite suddenly found myself in a bad situation. A month before that I had to replace an AC actuator because another puddle swallowed my jeep whole. My questions are:
1. How do I waterproof the engine compartment? Should I just buy a snorkel?
2. How do I keep water/mud out of the AC tube that comes through the firewall? I ruined the actuator last time water got in there. Does it matter if I run the AC when water gets in that tube?
3. Since I have to have the engine taken apart anyways, is there a couple components that I can install that will give me a little HP/torque? Roller rockers, cam, things like that.
