Anybody know what JK weather seals on the doors and freedom panels are made of as I was having a few leak issues from the central roof panel over dash and after reading the many leak threads on the forum, I thought I would try lubricating the seals to see if this helped.

I was going to use 'Super Lube 21030 Silicone Lubricating Grease with PTFE'
Multi purpose Lubricant
I think it is 100% petroleum free.

found one jeep related comment from a buyer
5 out of 5 stars, superlube rocks.

lubes polyurethane for Jeeps really well!

I did call the dealership and service for leak issues have over a month waiting period to bring the Jeep in so thought I would see if I could remedy myself.

If anyone knows if seals are made of natural rubber or some type of synthetic etc this would help as do not want to cause any warranty issues by the dealership claiming I had damaged seals using a non suitable agent.

Many Thanks!
