Well that depends on how much you like to walk. As far as the price it will vary a great deal. The best way would be to do it yourself.

Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more

About $120 for the cluch
And $200 for the tools

A weekend of your time and you get to keep the tools for free and save about$100

I seriously doubt the noise is caused by the throw out bearing. the throw out bearing only spins when the clutch pedal is stepped down on. when the clutch pedal is up, the throw out bearings do not rotate or spin. I am thinking more along the lines of the pressure plate or the clutch disk itself.

Clutch change

I just had my clutch and throw out bearing changed, parts about $60, labor $400. It is tough to do in your driveway, the trans/transfer case is pretty heavy.

im about to do my TO in my jeep it was squeeling just a little bit in gear driving and terribly with the clutch pushed in, i bought the part for 51$ and it calls for 2.4 hours to replace, so it should take about 3 hours in my driveway

It's impossible to really know what specifically is wrong until you have the transmission out so you can see the clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, etc.

But if I have the transmission out, I doubt I'd be replacing any single component. That's the time to replace the clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and pilot bearing since pulling the tranny is such a PITA. The entire kit that has all that is only $150 or so from Dial-A-Clutch - Your LuK Clutch Kit Specialist Go with the standard (not Gold) Luk clutch kit, it's the best going for the TJ.
