I have the ace rock sliders that attach to the body mounts On my JKUSS

I'm thinking of welding a tube from the sliders to the frame for strength and rigidity from rocks as well as being t-boned while the doors are off which I drive like all summer. That actually scares me the most.

Is there any reason why I shouldnt? Does the frame need to flex independently of the body?

Someone talk me out of it.

Yes the frame needs to flex independently of the body thats why the body mounts are rubber. Ace makes a weld on slider or you could take yours off and convert them into weld on ones.
