i find the back seat of the yj wrangler to be very small, tight and uncomfortable . especially since there is no headrest... i was thinkin of takin out the back seat and replacing it wit another captains chair or another 2 captains chair.... i know if i put only one i will need to take out the bracket and put another one, but if i put two is it possible to just bolt it down to the existing frame?

Seen it done in a TJ, but never a YJ...I don't see why it's not possible. TJ owner had to actually hammer out the wheel wells to get enough space for them to fit, But they did, eventually, fit. Hell of a lot more comfortable.

seen it done with rear removable seats from a explorer or expedition so that they were split fold down or removable was really easy and only had to add a couple of brackets
