The Commander in Chief was driving the JK today and notice while getting in that there appeared to be a bolt missing from the outboard side of the driver's seat. Anyone know what it's for? See photos -

I suspect that is supposed to be empty. I believe that is part of the hinge for the tumble assembly.

o o o I know the answer to that..on the four door that is the seat belt anchor. uses the same part on the 2 door but the 2 door has a different anchor point.

Probably so when the seat flips forward the belt isn't a trip hazard....

Funny this post popped up, I just noticed mine the other day for the first time!
