A little bit more information would be helpful, but here's my experience: I have a 94 2.5L, 5 speed. It was fine, and before it died it the revs were bouncing alot..thought, because of that, maybe the CPS (Crank Position Sensor) was dying and then finally went. I replaced that..and nothing. So I checked the distributor, fine. Replaced the coil...nothing. Turns out it was the PCM or ECU, whichever you want to call it. My suggestion is try this: Make sure you are getting power TO the coil. If you are, check if you are then getting any at the spark plugs. If you aren't, and it's not the distributor..my bet is that it is PCM/ECU. It's not that bad-really easy to uninstall and install...can be a pain in the @$$ to find one though. Ebay ended up working for me...If I were you, I'd check craigslist, if it ends up being that. (Never did find out if my CPS needed replacement...but it doesn't bounce anymore, so hey.)
ok thank you sooo much i have tried every thin i changed the crank sensor and the distributor then it ran fine for like a month then the same thing and now i aint getting any fire to the distributor so idk but hey thanks man i really appreciate it i will try it then see what happens thanks again ........
