Had 265/75/16 duratracs never had a sidewall issue, but go to eastern oregon quite often which is rocky. Just put on 285/75/16 cooper st maxx. What tire pressure should i run? Tire shop put in 35 psi feels very rough. have 99 tj 4:10s 2 inch bb and 1.25 body lift.

I would drop it down to about 28psi.
Great place to start. I run my rear at about 24 or 25 because my Jeep is still fairly light. Don't recommend going much lower than that on the highway. Could cause problems in a panic situation.

26-28 psi. 26 when the Jeep is lightly loaded, 28 when it's loaded with people and/or gear for the highway.

I run 285/75/16 on my TJ. On the highway I run 27 lbs. Offroad I go to 12 lbs.
