I have a 85 CJ-7 with a straight 6, 4 speed. It snapped the rear driveshaft and lost it down the well overgrown ditch, never to be found by me again. So I got one for a t4 or t5 tranny. It was about 2 inches or so too short. What tranny is in this?
good luck on finding the right size driveshaft. I have a 79 cj7 I looked everywhere for a front driveshaft and bought 2 wrong ones before buying the whole drivetrain out of another 79cj7 just for the driveshaft, but it worked out good because while putting it in I discovered front gears and Tcase was shot. so buy as many parts for YOUR jeep as possible because when you need them they wont be around. They wanted 400.00 to make a new shaft and if your like me you will be searchin the junk yards and old barns for a while.
