Went mudding yesterday and the jeep ran very well all the way home. This morning the battery was dead so I jumped it. It started up and ran while I was revving it, but died when I let go. After fully charging the battery i have the same problem. What's going on? Could it be an IAC issue?

Maybe the mud damaged your alternator. Is the volt gauge reading normal reading?

is there a short? has to be somewhere or it wouldn't run the bat. dead. Clean the battery good, and the starter... then charge bat. and test again.

The computer ha to learn how to run again. After not having power, it forgets what it has learned. Therefore, it has to have power supplied for a certain about of time for it to "wake up"
