Where is the rubbing? I ran 31" on stock TJ and no rubbing at all. I've never been fond of wheel spacers. But a lot of people run them.I have a 98 Wrangler I just bought, it has 31" buckshots on it and they rub when you turn sharp. Will wheel spacers eliminate this? I plan to put a lift on iy later on. Any ideas on a good lift? What kind of spacers?
If you don't run spacers you need a wheel with the correct back spacing to avoid rubbing. If you want to understand offset and back spacing just search the forum or google there is tons of good info explaining it.carterjustice said:It rubs on the wheel well. I will take a picture and post when it gets light. How do you run wide tires if you do not add spacers? Forgive the ifnorance, this is my first 4x4 project. I have always had brand new trucks and no projects. This one I want to make nice as I have always wanted a jeep.
