Well after posting this in the tire section and 55 views latter nada.

What is the weight differnce between the stock sport wheels 17 x 255 sra's

And a set of lets say Falken wildpeak 33 x 12.5 and 15x8 alloy rims?

I think i seen the stock 17 wheel is 27lbs and the 15" alloy rims are 20lbs!

Havnt seen the tire weights

This would be some good info with all the 33" tire talk!

Thanks

If that 27lbs is correct then it's 63 pounds each tire/rim stock.

With mb72 rims and 33/12.5/15 duratracs it's either 66 or 68lbs(I can't remember if that rim is 17 or 19 pounds). That is going to be one of the lightest combos

Check tirerack.com. They've got weights listed for each tire and size, so if they sell the SRAs you should be able to find its weight for a given size. I believe the Rubi (or Sport S) 17" wheel is right around 27 lbs as stated. My 15" Black Rock 909s are 19 lbs, and I think the ubiquitous MB72s are right about there as well. IIRC, when I was PMing DTD trying to choose wheels, my experience was most of the 15x8 alloys were between 19 and 22 lbs.

I measured my stock 17" rim/SRA kit when I took them off for that MB72 set. I put the results in the Duratrac thread.
Stock set was 62lbs and the MB72/DT was 68lbs

Those wheel combo look great.15" 909s fit past calipers on 4 doors? Sweet. Where did you find 5x5 bolt pattern in 15"

Calipers are the same on 2 and 4 doors, and yes, they fit no problem. DTD had them in 5x5--send them a PM.
