I am looking to lift my JK 3.5 inches so Im trying to figure out what wheels and tires to get. I like the Fuel Octanes that are 17x8.5 but the backspacing is 5.25 and offset is 14. I would like to run 315/70/17 Goodyear Wrangler Duratec on them. 4 wheel parts is saying that they will fit and I would have any rubbing at all but I just want to get a second option on this issue before spending all that money and having problems.

I run 35 toyos with 17x8.5 with 5.2 bs and no issues. I prefer that bs over the previous 17x9 rims that had 4.5" many people run aev rims with 35 and 37's no problem.

You are better off to keep your wheels moved in as much as possible, without rubbing.
This way you will have less stress on your Ball Joints and wheel hub bearings.

Since jadmt has already ran the 17x8.5 with 5.2 BS and 35's, then this would be one of your better wheel size choices!!!
