***This is a thread to help anyone new to town or new to Jeeps find a home dealer and SALESMAN. I have read several horror stories and have heard them ALL over the years.
***Let me intorduce myself, my name is Jaron Davis. I am the Interenet Sales Manager @ Chapman Chrysler Jeep in the HENDERSON Auto Mall.
***I am pleased to tell you that I am one of the biggest Jeep nuts in town and know almost everything there is to know about Jeep. I have worked @ Chapman Chrysler Jeep in HENDERSON for 7 years now and own a Bad A$$ 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ.

well my first question is why is there so much rust under the 2013 jeeps and why isnt jeep fixing it for their customers and 2nd question is why does chapman sell jeeps with 35" tires yet doesnt warrantee and fix a 2013 jeep (with a 35" spare) that I am guessing had some kind of factory problem with the gate stop bar since it just popped out?

*** I can find out about the surface rust on the axles because I have seen it as well on every Jeep from the second they come off the train. I'm sure there is a good answer but don't want to lie or guess. I can have an answer on Monday on that.
*** As far as the rear tailgate it wasnt designed to hold the weight of a 35in tire and rim and last offroad. Driving around town shouldn't be an issue but who buys a Jeep not to take offroad. That being said MOST of the new Jeeps that we sell with 35s have the Smittybilt XRC, AEV or equivelant tire swing to ensure to tailgate issues for the REAL Jeepers.
*** Once again I will find out the answer on the surface rust issue when I get to work on Monday, meanwhile have a blessed night.

Mopar Man i wish i would have found this thread back in June, I would have rather went to the auto mall, but i bought my Jeep at Chapman on Sahara. My father retired from Chrysler, well Daimler/Chrysler or whatever its called now. I went there to buy a Jeep and i knew when trading in my Caliber SRT-4 i was going to get a good trade in, however the salesman told me the Jeep I was looking at had aftermarket wheels and tires on it. When he went to do his "thing" (and high ball me) He came back and told me the wheel package wasn't in the computer and i should just take them as a gift/incentive, agreeing i went in and rang the bell. I road home in style, and no later than a week later that F Er is calling me to bring back that wheel package, and it'll be 'his' job if i keep them.... This is so many months ago, but it still pisses me off that people try to F over even those that have put there time and effort in, with there blood, sweat, and tears. Telling my father this pissed him off and long story short after talking to many people, it was only a complaint, and enough of them would take their five star rating away... omg.. :/

Yeah, I had a bad experience with the Sahara Chapman as well. I had gone there to turn in my 2010 Rubi for a 2013 Rubi, both 2 door. The head finance guy kept telling me not to worry about the interest rate and that only the monthly payment mattered. Of course this is ****ing retarded, as the total cost to finance is directly related to the interest rate, so I left. The sales guy said he would call me in a couple days but he never did. And I still have my 2010 Rubi.

*** Willson and Cregrets... That is the main reason why I wanted to post this thread. I am so sick and tired, as I am sure you all are as well, of other dealers and sales people jacking good customers around.
*** Like I mentioned before real Jeepers need someone who speaks Jeep. I cannot apologize enough for other dealers and their shenanigans but I can promise you this, I will help you and everyone else out personally every step of the way.
*** I am a customer as well because I have to buy transportation as well. I have gobe to several dealerships over the years as my wife likes to trade out of her vehicles once or twice a year. I will never go anywhere else to buy because of these jerk off Dealers playing games.
*** If you would be so kind, please refer your friends, family and enemies to me. I will in turn give you $200 for eneryone that I sell a vehicle to, not only Jeeps... LOL... I will help them out personally to ensure a GREAT car buying experience. There is to much other crap to worry about in this world.
*** Not sure if you noticed but today is Sunday and we are closed but I am never off, my goal is to help everyone whenever I can.

thats great that MOST have the "Smittybilt XRC, AEV or equivelant tire swings" however the 2012 that I have came with the 35" tire on just the standard mount and gate with no problem. Also the bar that goes from the gate to the jeep holds none of the pressure of the gate while off roading, it is only there to help keep the gate from opening all the way. I just dont see why you guys wouldnt warrenty my friends 2013 at 5 months old rather then lose 2 return customers and all the people that I will be telling not to buy from you guys?

*** The surface rust is more of a cometic issue than a structural issue. I went out and looked at every single Brand New 2013 along with ALL of the used and they ALL have the surface rust. I personally don't care on mine because I plan and do use mine as a Jeep. The spindles that show ruface rust are 3/4 of an inch or thicker in some spots so structurally it is fine. If it does bother you & I do know SEVERAL customers that it does, you can repaint it with some Hi-Temp Paint.
*** As regards to the tailgate issue the reason why the TailGate Stop was ripped out or disconnected is because of the excess weight or opening force on the tailgate. None of the issues that you are experiancing has anything to do with our dealership dropping the ball so I would hate to loose your business because of something that we have 0 (zero) control over.
