Detroit Tru Trac work very well especially if you drive on the road. I've had good luck with them. A selectable locker is the best but the $ is way more and have to worry about air lines braking/tearing or a cable getting tore off on a OX.
a lot of variables..... off road only / mostly off road / dual purpose / most street with some dirt....
for me I have always liked a selectable locker, especially on the front axle since that is where the steering is done.
I have never yet found anyone who bought an ARB locker that later says they wished they had bought something else. They are expensive to start but they work great and are fully locked solid when needed and completely unlocked and when you don't need them.
My last vehicle I had run three different lockers (Lockrite, Detroit, ARB : in this order). I would never run anything but ARB now. I never had an issue with an air line leaking or failing. If I did have problems I had already found where I could buy stainless lines to replace the plastic.
