With the nice weather coming I want to buy some half doors, here are my choices

1.Like new Bestop soft doors top and bottom with case 250

2.Hard half doors no rust 185

The soft doors I can drive to and pick up
The hard doors are a different color then jeep also I would have to stay overnight because it's 4 hours away.So there is a cost to paint doors and hotel stay

Which would you choose,or would you buy both and sell one

half hard doors, and thats a steal as they go for $400-$500 by me

many people have complained that the bestop soft lowers and uppers have latching issues and can flap around at highway speeds.

I don't have any experience with factory half doors, but do have the best top soft doors (traded a guy a cheap set of tube doors for them) and love them. They give you that false sense of security, and if you want to go doorless, they slide under the seat without issues. Aesthetically speaking, unless you get the hard doors color matched, I'd assume you'd rattle can them black anyways, so the look would stay the same.

I like my hard half doors. Easy to look out when I am wheeling

If you travel and camp I'd say the soft doors since they will keep the rain out yet let you go doorless with ease.

For a local beach and back rig... I'd like half doors.
