Will a 4.0 cluster work with a 2.5 tj

Dealer diagnosed a fuel gauge fault with my cluster and I find it easier to just replace the entire cluster. I found one on ebay within 1000 miles of mine for under $100 but its from a 4.0....... Will a 4.0 cluster work on my 2.5 jeep?
