I have had a small oil leak around the dipstick tube and finally had time to check it out. I have read that the 258 dipstick tube is no longer in production, so I am thinking about trying silicone or epoxy. I have never really been a fan of this method because it never works for me. Can anyone recommend a product that they have used and will fill this small hole and actually hold up? It's right on the base where the flare meets the block. It looks like the PO used a flat head to knock it in place.

I have the supplies to solder copper plumbing fittings if that will bond. Ill use the solder on the hole and a dab of black silicone where the flare meets the block.

Thanks for the ideas. I cleaned it up and soldered. I looks like it's going to work.
