What tire specs are you running? I plan to go with the new duratracs 255/75/17.

Those will be fine. You can go up to 285/70/17 without a lift with that backspace with minimal issues offroad. I am running 285/75/16 duratracs.

So let me get this straight. You're asking if the stock tires on a Rubicon (255/75R-17) will fit, right? I'm going to bet YES on this one. Either that, or all these Rubicon owners are lying when they say their stock tires don't rub. The decrease in backspacing from your aftermarket wheels will increase tire clearance beyond even what a stock Jeep has, so it definitely isn't going to rub.

If you have a JK then 255/75 R17 is a stock size tire for the wrangler. It will fit fine with a backspace up to 6.25.
