Hello all! I have looked throughout the forum and found some information regarding my plight and thought a new thread might be my best bet. So, I recently bought a 2012 unlimited rubicon and took off the front hard top just to see how easy, what it felt like to drive, etc. Well, after replacing them I now have a steady whistle once I get up to around 40mph. The sound doesn't change with speed and disappears under 40mph. After looking around this site it was suggested to either caulk the window gap or use screen spline around the small gap around the front windscreen. Well, I used screen spline and the sound is still there. Any suggestions on what other causes this might be? I've tightened all latch points that attaches the roof to get a solid fit. Any suggestions are appreciated!
