I keep my heat control set on window defrost/floor most of the time. Is it normal to get the water condensation dripping to the ground when you have the defroster heat on, like it does when the AC is on? I notice this just about everytime I park it. 2003 TJ Sport.

Yup, the defroster uses the AC to dry the air, that's where the drip comes from. That's where I leave my control 8 years deep. The way I figure, the compressor constantly gets worked out, so it doesn't explode after a long winter of being off and filling with junk.

Same here, I had my A/C serviced at 60k, and I'm at 120k and going strong.
