Hey everybody,
I'm new here so sorry if i'm posting in the wrong section. I was wondering if there was an easy way to connect a set of cheapo led lights I have to the existing wiring for the fog lights. I have the smittybilt xrc front bumper (so no more factory fogs) and I was wondering if I could do something like that. I have an spod, but It'd be nice if I could free up one of the switches by doing this.
Thanks!

sure just cut off the factory connectors and wire up your leds to the existing wiring.

No relays or fuses or anything?
If you're running off the factory wiring it's already using the factory system, switch, fuse, relay and all. Nothing additional would be needed. Just check your stock fuse and compare to what they recomend for your LED lights

I would agree with mars. might need some resistors.
It should be fine without, I run inspired engineering led fog lights on my 2012 which are direct plug and play with no issues.
Unless they have resistors built into them, I don't think they do though.
My buddy runs cheap led lights wired direct to factory wiring with no issues as well, but his is a 2007.

What type of plug would I need to wire up my own lights to the fog plug? Id prefer to solder up to a plug instead
