I have a stock 2000 wrangler and I get a little wobble when I hit 60 or 61 in 5th gear, it seems to come and go and it just came back. Now when i am in 4th it doesn't wobble as bad just a tiny one. Is this normal?

Have you washed the underside real well? There could be some mud stuck up in there causing a wobble. Mine did this when I would brake on the highway for stoplights and i washed the brakes and it fixed it.

I had a similar problem. When I got up around 70, my Wrangler was all over the road. Turned out to be the shocks. The shocks that were equipped when I purchased it were for a large truck. I replaced the shocks with the Procomp Monotube shocks that are designed for a jeeps weight. I also just purchased new control arm bushings, just to sure everything up.

Most speed sensitive shimmies/wobbles are tire or wheel related. Usually an imperfectly balanced tire or simply a bad tire.
