Unbelievable service from this place.
And the guy on the forum here won't even pm me back.
Been two week and still waiting on a part.
And my order of 640$ two weeks ago.
Two of the items were on sale and I went through hell getting an adjustment.
They were on sale when I placed the order and the sale price didn't adjust in the cart and I didn't realize it at the time I place it.
So to get the adjustment I had to have a supervisor call me.
And now am dealing with this lost part I orderd two weeks ago.
And they are just quick hard top bolts.
Not to mention I had to pay for a damaged item to be returned.
Yes I sent something back plus the damaged item but it was all one box.
I don't have much hope getting my refund from the returned items.
I can see a call to my credit card to file a complaint.
Don't deal with Rob if if call to place an order over the phone.
I thought the guy here would of helped but obviously I was wrong.
All they want is your money after they get it then you don't matter at all.
I would suggest buying somewhere else to anyone looking to be treated right.

Sadly, my current experience isn't much better.

I got a quote from Jake for my order which, for me anyway, is for a fairly significant amount of money. Five tires and wheels, mounted and balanced, plus several other things. Just shy of $2700 total. When I placed the order by phone, I was assured that everything was in stock, although the wheels and tires would take 1-3 business days for the mounting and balancing. No problem, I understand completely. They even threw in two T-shirts for free. Cool...for a bit, anyway.

I ordered on the afternoon of Wednesday, 5/26. On Friday, the 28th, I unexpectedly received two of the items. Awesome! However, my card had been charged for about $1200 and the two items were only worth $100. To top it off, the wheels were now marked as Backordered. First chat with CS and I ask about the backorder on the wheels. The rep says that he sees a backorder ETA of 3 weeks. WTF? He asks if there is another T-shirt I'd like. I don't want a T-shirt, I want my wheels and tires! He says he misunderstood me. Apparently, "wheels and tires" when typed, looks like "t-shirt". He assures me that "backorder" simply means the wheels are on their way from a satellite warehouse for them to mount. The following Tuesday, I get a shipping notice and tracking numbers...for the items I received the Friday before. Still nothing on the tires and wheels. No big deal, it was a holiday weekend. By Thursday, still no communication, so Chat #2 with CS. Once again, I was assured that they were on schedule and this time, the rep said he would check with the appropriate dept and have them get in touch with me personally. On Friday, June 1, I get an email saying that they apologize for the wheels being out of stock, but the expected ship date was Monday, June 5.

Today, Tuesday, June 6, still no communication. Chat #3 with CS. I ask about the wheels and tires. Good news, he says, he can have my t-shirts shipped right away. I don't give a fuzzy rat's hindquarters about the free T-shirts. Surprise, he has no update about my tires and wheels, but he will have someone from the Issue Resolution Team get back to me. Newsflash, that is who told me yesterday was the Ship Date. This rep says he will look into it and call me back tomorrow night with as much info as he can find.

The sad part of all of this is that even with the great quote from Jake, 4WD was still cheaper. I went with ET because I am also in PA and only 2 hours from the Malvern shop. They also had free mounting and balancing.

I have another quote from Jake that is just shy of $1000 but I haven't submitted it because I wanted to see how this panned out. I will not be submitting it for order now. I told the rep that I will wait and see what he has for me tomorrow night, but unless they are on a truck and headed my way, I'll most likely cancel the order. I'm just wondering how long it will take to get back the money they charged me for the stuff I won't receive?

All I can add is that I've ordered a lot from XT and never had an issue. Some fairly large orders, not like yours, but large, price and size wise. I have had issues with another vendor here, mainly items listed in stock but then not, but they've made many improvements to their site, hopefully this isn't falling on deaf ears.

I have bought two things only so far from ET. Side steps and a shorty antenna. Went okay and delivered in two days to my house. So far I cannot complain but I do follow others post as to issues for sure. I hate that your experience has been less than, well, acceptable.

I did get a few small things from them without issue our to my big order, but I will not order from them again. During my dispute with them, after they admitted they had no idea where my tires were, they proceeded to charge my card for the entire amount of the purchase. It took multiple phone calls to get them to refund my money and sup the order, then more phone calls to stop the incessant emails and take me off their mailing list.

Krawl Offroad had my tires to me in just over three days, mounted, balanced and ready to put on the Jeep. And my dealings with vendors like Northridge and Quadratec have been great as well.

And I was just about to place a fairly large order with them. After these two reviews, I believe I'll look elsewhere...

I've ordered in the past, small stuff no issues. What I find very bothersome is that I see that XTJake took the time to read the thread and even slapped a like on cherokeesteve post, but didn't bother to step in and resolve skullfreak's issues. Part of the reason to do business with a vendor on here is you have a go to person, but perhaps such is not the case with XTJake.

On the flipside, they have always delivered the parts I have ordered, for a good price and quickly.

Is it wheels and tires that cause the issues or returns?

I have had either.

So at $3700 total, your crazy ordering from XT when you could order from 4WD in Ohio and get free shipping and no sales tax. Your 2 orders for $3700 at a sales tax rate of what....? Mine is 6% in beaver county so I'll assume close to that.... $222 over paid by you. That is $222 that could have been applied to parts for your jeep or money left in your pocket.

Bad move. I order only from NorthRidge4x4 and 4WD in Columbiana Ohio.NR4x4 is my main go-to source.

I don't think it's crazy to want to support local businesses within the state, sales tax or not, and that was my original intention. I still deal with Quadratec and have had no issues with them.

That being said, Krawl Offroad stepped up and helped me immensely with my wheels and tires and I love them for it. Jason will be one of the first to get a chance at my large orders from now on.

And Kaleb from NR4x4 had been great to work with for my RSE sliders.

Yeah, I'm not impressed with ET. Ordered, paid for 5 new wheels. One showed up a week ago. 4 are missing and they won't send me 4 more till UPS spends 2 weeks looking for them. I don't have two weeks, they are holding up my build. Never again.

I ordered my Mammoth wheels from them and all was good, but after reading this I am done with them. Mainly cause they are not defending themselves on this post, thus are admittimg guilt.

Looling for 33" tires and a HD tire carrier and I was gonna use them but no more. 4wd here I come.

I have ordered a Cobra Radio and Soft Top Stay Pad Service Kit for my 2015 HR and never had any real issues with any of my orders. All concerns I addressed have been pleasently handled in a timely manner. The Stay Pad Kit isn't working out as it should and that is the manufactures issue I believe, not Extreme Terrains fault.
