Currently on my ball joints and joints on tie rods and draglinks I have been using the General purpose grease EP Chevron one. This one is whitish one but after few days on the zergs they start to leak clear.

So I decided to try Lucas Xtra Duty grease, this one is like a dark green grease. Would applying this on my joints do harm? I got tired of the leaky white grease one. Specially when I pick up the grease gun it drips off leaving a trail when I walk.

Mixing two different greases can/might cause them to liquify. But the simple solution is be more frequent greasing them until you purge the old grease and then any mismatch will be cured.

thanks for the help. I usually just do 2 pumps because some people advise me not to over pump it. Claiming that sometimes it might do more harm to the boot than good.

The tie rods and draglinks are the Yeti brand btw.
