Wtf is wrong with my fog light

Alright so I still have the stock fog lights on my 03 wrangler. I took it wheeling for the first time a couple months ago and after that my buddy noticed my one fog light was out. Being stupid I went over and hit it. Boom... Came back on. Now it'll stay on after I hit it but when I go and start it every morning it won't come on so I have to keep hitting it. I checked all the connections on the light and they seem. No corrosion or water damage. What's wrong with it?

Faulty bulb or bad connection in the housing.

I checked all the connections and they seemed good. If I were to replace them what bulb type do I need?
Where is that located? Only saw like a white and a black or blue wire I believe in the light itself
On the factory lights im not sure. On aftermarket there is a ground wire then the light itself is grounded.
Good news is the problem is isolated to the light, so you're not chasing the wire harness all over the place. The connections inside the light get very hot, over time they'll get brittle. Open up the housing and carefully go through the wiring inside. If you have a meter, check for continuity while jiggling the wires around, it may be a broken conductor inside the insulation.

I never thought about it being broke inside the insulation. I'll have to test it when I get home today. Thanks everyone
