X-Gauge trans temp code for 2013 JK (Here it is)

After a few e-mails from James at ScanGauge and trial and error testing on my 2013 JK sport. James was able to get the correct codes for transmission temperature. The following code is for a 2013 wrangler and probably will not work in anything else. :)

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I can confirm the Transmission Temp code above for 2013 works with the 2012 and the ScanGauge II.

Just tried it today and it worked great.

Be advised that the Jeep/Trans ECU does not report transmission temp when the vehicle is in park! You need to shift to Drive for the correct trans temp to be displayed on the ScanGauge.

This is not a ScanGauge anomaly, the same behavior is displayed in my Jeep Grand Cherokee and the built in EVIC.

Bumpity bump. Just want to say thanks, this appears to work for me on my 2013. So thanks for doing the dirty work!

And yes, when in Park it switches to showing the coolant temp. Have to be in drive to see the transmission temp.
