Thought I'd post my 88 project...I bought it over the summer as a non-running project. The P.O. had installed the rear half (the easy half) of a 2.5" trailmaster lift and had "custom built" a snowplow. I removed the plow to get access to the front end, installed the other half of the lift, installed the TC drop the P.O. also included. Got it running and moving under its own power. While installing new brakes and brake lines all around, I discovered the rear backing plates were so rotted and the axle was trash, so got a replacement from the junk yard and replaced seals and bearings before installing it. Replaced all the bushings and u-joints up front and converted the column shift automatic to a floor shift (because all the linkage mounting points under the hood had rotted away). Removed the seats and started repairing the floor cancer and then winter came. I picked up a free set of 31X10.50's mounted on custom wheels. 3 of 4 tires are junk but I'll get new tires mounted on the stock wheels in the spring. Still much to do but here's how it sits as of today...

Nice Jeep ! You might want to run the numbers on that block to get more accurate information. The 400 wasn't offered in a 69 Camaro. It didn't come out until 1970 and was typically in larger passenger cars and light trucks. If you do any off roading or live near dust I'd replace that air filter.
Not trying to be critical, but I always like as much helpful information as I can get for my own vehicles. I figure others do as well.

Took my son out in his ‘95 YJ yesterday. DMV isn’t issuing driver permits right now so practicing off-road.

What wheels you running on this?

Hey Guy's I am new here to the forums, "So a big shout out to all you jeepers!

Did not drive this for some time after I bought it, if you have not noticed the temporary plate in the window. What I did while it was setting here; New bumper, winch, quick disconect on sway bar, off road lighting, grill and light trim, hood vent, "Ok, before you tell me its on backwards, (I like the vent that way) LOL
Very soon, this jeep is going to lose its fenders, flares, rock guards, rock sliders, and corner guards, I am sure something else will come off down the road, hopefully not by accident, lol. Going to replace everything from front to rear with Metalcloak. I am so excited, just waiting for it all to get here!:p
