Rock Lights

Guys/Gals,

I saw this thread on another forum and thought the idea rather cool, but living in PA with our quirky motor vehicle codes and such I was wondering if anyone has done something similar and how did you fair at inspection time?

I have a set of these lights and if nothing else if I was hoping to use them.

You shouldn't have any legal issues unless you are running them on the road. Blue(cops) and red (fire/ambulance) are the ones you can never have on while on the road. As long as they are off you shouldn't have any trouble

If you leave the fuse out and just keep it in the glove compartment you shouldn't have any issues at all anywhere. A few states were a bit more picky about "accidentally switching the lights on while on road" - doing that ensures no issues.

I'm in Texas, and I'm sure your transportations laws are similar. Technically, any after market light that's illuminated on a public roadway is illegal; however, being solely a white light which is under your jeep probably wouldn't be a huge deal to most cops anyhow.
