looking at the logic of having them...if nothing else having a flat at night...they would be a definate benefit. Maybe this idea is stupid I don't know. I just would like some after thought on it!

 

You shouldn't have any legal issues unless you are running them on the road. Blue(cops) and red (fire/ambulance) are the ones you can never have on while on the road. As long as they are off you shouldn't have any trouble

 

yes that is what I figured they will be switched with the spod as soon as it gets here...i just thought it was a pretty good Idea....

 

If you leave the fuse out and just keep it in the glove compartment you shouldn't have any issues at all anywhere. A few states were a bit more picky about "accidentally switching the lights on while on road" - doing that ensures no issues.

 

I'm in Texas, and I'm sure your transportations laws are similar. Technically, any after market light that's illuminated on a public roadway is illegal; however, being solely a white light which is under your jeep probably wouldn't be a huge deal to most cops anyhow.
