Rear differential vent tube leak

I got home today and noticed some grease/oil dripping down the side of my gas tank. I followed it and its coming from the vent tube for the rear differential. I'm not sure why it would be leaking though. I haven't changed the fluid since 3 or 4 months ago. The only thing that happened today was I jump the median to make a u turn and it was a little higher and it hit it a little harder than i intended. Maybe this could have did something? Nothing bottomed out but i did bounce up and down pretty good. Thanks!

Subscribed, as I have noticed the same thing. I put an aftermarket cover on and am thinking I may have overfilled it, and now the pressure is pushing the extra out.

yeah at first i thought my gas tank filler was leaking but then i figured out what it was. I'm 90% sure i probably got water in my diff. I was stuck in water up to the doors for about an hour a month or so ago. I'm just not sure why it starting coming out now unless i just didn't notice it before. either way i need to change the fluid before I drive it much more to prevent any damage from the water.
