repaint/cosmetic restore on 1950 CJA

Thought you guys might enjoy some pics of a 1950 CJ3A the shop I work for is taking care of for a customer. It was completely re-done a few years ago, and the guy drives it like it was meant to be driven. It sits outside alot, so he wants it painted in the vintage colors....a burgundy from the 1947 Willy's paint codes used on the 2a's is what he chose. Gonna repaint the wheels also...here are the pics of the project as of now...just starting the tear down to get it ready for prep work...enjoy!!

yeah...it gets road hard and put away wet in the spring and summer. Not so much in the winter...he doesn't put the top on.

The guy is pretty cool-retired. He always jokes that he has to change the color of his jeep because it looks like my CJ5....
